This page explains what personal data is collected on this website, why, and what rights you have. The party responsible under data protection law is Carolina Schlitt, [address], [email protected].
When you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you provide are processed solely to respond to your commission inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract). Data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully handled, unless retention is required by law.
This website is hosted via Cloudflare. Cloudflare automatically processes technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) to deliver the site securely and reliably. This is a legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Depending on the technical setup this may transmit your IP address to Google servers when the page loads. [To avoid this, fonts can be self-hosted instead of loaded from Google's servers.]
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools.
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
These terms apply to inquiries and commissions made through this website. Carolina Schlitt is an independent artist, not a registered company.
Submitting the contact form is a non-binding inquiry. A commission only becomes binding once both parties have agreed on scope, price and timeline in writing (e.g. by email).
Unless agreed otherwise, a deposit is due upon confirmation of a commission, with the remaining balance due before or upon delivery.
Carolina Schlitt retains copyright to all artworks. Purchasing a piece transfers ownership of the physical work, not the right to reproduce it, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Commissions can be cancelled before work begins at no cost. Once work has started, costs already incurred may be charged.
